| notes | black vinyl. the machine printed matrix looks similar to those on the "utopia" counterfeit 7" of here she comes now, sliver, and others. The record has the correct sleeve as officially released, with all of the correct markings (showerhead etc. unlike the many coloured bootlegs later released) and also the correct "Geffen" labels as was officially released. The only two differences are the pressing speed of the vinyl (45rpm as opposed to the official speed of 33 1/3rpm) and the presentation of the matrix on the vinyl. I picked this particular record up at a garage sale in Melbourne around february 2007. |

this is very well made, the printing quality is very high and can be recognized as a fake only checking the quality of the small print on the back side by side with an original. but, if it's not sealed, it can be easily recognized by the different matrix (MVCG 17002). copies have been sold in japanese shops, so for some time it was thought to be an official reissue |

this item has been counterfeited many times, so other variations exist. the things to check are: the matrix the printing quality of inlays and cd the obi: counterfeits are often cropped at the top or at the bottom the number of pages of the booklet: in the original they are 4 (8 sides) kept together by two metallic points the playing side: in the original the recorded part is clearly visible, with small gaps betwen the tracks |

The seller had some other Nirvana promo tapes. text from an ebay auction: I found this in Bangkok years ago. A track from "no alternative" is listed but it's in fact a load of live tracks. The insert also states "1992 Made in Japan". |
